Gremlin is a real character, she loves to play and run about with our older Bulldogs. Gremlin is a good example of a Bulldog bred for Health. In the future, Gremlin will contribute to our Healthier Bulldog program and possibly our Olde English Bulldog program as well. We will allow Gremlin to mature and develope at her own pace while feeding her on the B.A.R.F Diet. As Gremlin gets to a year old we will start increasing the intensity of her exercise by introducing on lead running next to a bike and some light resistance weight pulling. We believe that by increasing the activity levels of our bulldogs with each subsequent generatiion that each litter will be stronger and healthier than the last as they adapt to a more active lifestyle. It is not our intention to completely change the Bulldog but simply to improve the Bulldog's joints, breathing and overall structure. To achieve this the dogs have to be incouraged to lead a more active lifestyle. Those that want a bulldog purely because of the Bulldogs lazy attitude must except that such a dog will almost certainly suffer from numerous health problems. There is nothing more upsetting than watching a dog lay down, short of breath unable to join in a game of football with the kids. In producing Bulldogs like Gremlin we are trying to produce a happy a Bulldog able to enjoy a better quality of life. Gremlin's temperament is playful and non-aggressive, affectionate and quite amusing. Our Bulldogs, such as Gremlin are much the same as the standard Bulldog in terms of attitude, temperament and appearance. The only marked difference is their desire and ability to lead a more active lifestyle.
